the way I dissent

dukhha, samudaya, nirodha and magga you say when I say suffering. You call faith a pillar that helps the world survive and god the creator and savior of the pillar. The whole system collapses.
The dissent against faith is because it is one such torment and suffering that man fails to recognize and so comes the need of a new noble path. THE NINTH PATH!

The Mind. The Heart.

What separates out the Homosapiens sapiens (for those who don't know... we have evolved into the Homosapiens sapiens from the Homosapiens, science keeps on changing, doesn't it?) from the rest of 'barbarians' and brings out man as a social animal, they say, is the Mind. I am not going to go back to evolution but we have evolved quite a lot though the brain sizes of our late late late ancestors, presumably the Neanderthals and other contemporaries have a larger Cranial capacity than ours.

The core of human research, development and the enigmatic picture of everything we behold... is thanks to the mind, they say. The mind led us to win battles of impotence and stasis. The mind answered questions that were thought un-answerable, and sometimes, un-qustionable. The mind leaped heights of knowledge and brought into existence newer questions and newer answers. The cycle goes on.

And yet, Osho says, "When mind stops, meditation starts". Isn't this a paradox? Wasn't deep meditation the answer the Buddha found and that led him to "enlightment". So, Path 2 seems more like a mystique path, choosing not the questions but the answers. The answers lead to the questions.

I remember Osho saying... "Speak from your heart and hear from your heart". In fact, "think from your heart". The key is meditation.

The mind is restless and always wants to know more.
The heart is calm. The heart teaches you to be happy and satisfied.
Knowledge could be obsolete.
Life could not.

Do you then mean, than man should be contend with his reality and not question it's ultimate meaning?Much like being inside a dream isn't it??

What are your thoughts on zen buddhism, i'm sure you've heard of koans. What do you think 'they' mean when they say : "Direct pointing to the mind"

Bythe by cool blog bro, keep it up ..

Hello.

I am actually very surprised. Somebody actually read my blog!!! :D

Exactly. Questioning leads us nowhere. It leads us to a never-ending quest of questions and even more questions. And, it is futile. The "Why" of Physics can never prove its effectiveness against the "IS" of life.

I am impressed by Zen by how much i have read it. You must have realized it by the way i quote osho. He alwayd refers to zen because it is not a religion, and another cage.

Have read lots of Koans. I have a big collection back home. I just love those short and witty stories.

Am in India for a week. Will be regular to my blog again. hope u come back again.

If you don't question, yes you are happy. Look at the animals. They don't have any questions regarding life and everything. And yes, they are happy the way it is. They are happy to have a life and get to mate.

But we humans ca think why actually they need to mate. We as humans know that. And it is what kept the generations going.

We are just another animal. But thankfully, we can question things and get the answers to the best we can. Thats why we are different from animals.

Thank you!!!
